What happens if the device is turned off for a longer period of time? Is it necessary to take the unit out? To close it?

If you intend to turn off the device for a prolonged period of time, we certainly suggest removing the essence from the device, inserting the “Cleaner” and letting it work for at least 2 hours. Then unplug the device from electrical current. Before use, clean the cylinder according to enclosed instructions (for SG Classic and SG Climate).
